An excellent book! Mark Biltz writes with humor and great information! All pastors should read this, and be able to teach their congregations all about the importance of keeping the festivals, and learning to recite the prayers! I will be rereading it so that better understand it!

I LOVE THIS BOOK! It's and easy read loaded with information and referenced with scripture. I've learned so much and have 'raved' to friends as well as read them different passages to whet their appetite. I really enjoy anything that Pastor Mark Biltz puts out and have watched El Shaddai Ministries on line. Highly recommended, I couldn't put it down!

Mark Blitz is very knowledgeable about the Jewish faith, and Jewish feasts. I found this very informative, and now understand the feasts. I recommend this book to anyone who had questions about the Jewish Feast days, and the correlation to Christianity. Every Christian should read this!

Great information for anyone who reads the Bible. This book explains what the bible REALLY says without the confusion of adding traditional and cultural practices that so many just assume are Biblical.

Mark Biltz brings to the Jewish Calendar and celebrations to life by providing historical reference, supported scripture and breaks things down so it is easy to understand. This is a great book for anyone but specifically used this in a Christian bible study format. We were so excited by what we learned we started celebrating all of the feasts and it has opened up a new area of our faith. So excited to have found this.

So much information with Scripture. Everyone should read this book to get an understanding of things you will not have explained in today's churches. I bought the Kindle edition here and downloaded the audition from my library then listen/read the whole book in one day. ( about 4 hrs - not including the 50+ pages of Appendix.)

I found the book to be very informative, and intellectually worthwhile. An excellent exercise in correlating ancient Hebrew traditions, with modern Christian expectations, and the written Word of God.

I pre-ordered this book and the day I received it, I devoured it. Thank you to Mark Biltz for such an insightful message for this TIME and SEASON in history. Your passion for the Word of God, in tandem with your knowledge of the Hebrew language and the Jewish Feast has ignited a fire for change in this reader's life. My new calendar is marked for our "dress rehearsals" as I help prepare my church, family, friends and myself for the return of Yeshua! Anyone reading this book, who lays hold of it truths, will be counted among the 5 Wise Virgin who kept their lamps fill with oil for the coming of the Bridegroom. About the Author
James F. Hancock received his BS in Biology from Baldwin Wallace College (Berea, Ohio), a MS in Botany at Miami University (Oxford, Ohio) and a Ph.D. in Genetics at the University of California, Davis. After a short stint in the Biology Department at the University of South Carolina, he moved to Michigan State University (MSU) as an assistant professor of Horticulture, where he has been for over thirty years, being promoted to Professor in 1986. He was the Director of the Plant Breeding and Genetics Program at MSU from 2004 to 2009, and is currently the Director of the MSU Plant Biotechnology Resource Center. The emphasis of his research has been on the breeding and genetics of blueberries and strawberries, and he has published prodigiously in these areas. His previous books have been The Strawberry and Plant Evolution and the Origin of Crop Species, and he has edited books on The Highbush Production Guide (with Marvin Pritts), Temperate Fruit Crop Genetics: Germplasm to Genomics, and Environmental Biosafety (with Rebecca Grumet, Karim Maredia and Cholani Weebadde). He has lectured and consulted on blueberry growing and breeding in Chile, China, France, Germany, Great Britain, Latvia, Mexico Poland, Spain, Portugal and Scotland. Most notably he had a six month stay at the Universidad de Talca in 1992 on a Fulbright Fellowship to study and lecture on small fruits. He has guided the programs of about 20 graduate students and 3 post-doctoral Fellows.
